We love families at Edinburgh Vineyard!
Our vision is to love, serve and give life to the city so we’re partnering with Kids Matter (KM) to run parenting programs.
Who are the parenting programs for?
Parenting doesn’t come with a manual, it can be hugely fun, rewarding and wonderful… And yet challenging too.
Kids Matter parenting groups are aimed at families on low income and with low support. Anyone with children aged 1-10 years is very welcome.
How much does it cost?
Edinburgh Vineyard covers the cost so it’s free to you.
Where?
You can find us at Inch Park Community Sports Club in Inch Park.
When is it?
The course begins on Monday 21st April 9:30-11:30am at Inch Park Community Sports Club. Crèche, snacks and hot drinks provided. No charge! We’re excited to meet you.
What does it involve?
The programs are run in small groups of about 8 people. They run on a weekly basis in small groups for about two hours. There’s hot drinks and cake every week and topics discussed include guidance and boundaries, loving and belonging, feeling heard and understood and a few others. There are discussions around the table led by facilitators who have been fully trained by Kids Matter.
Is there a crèche?
A free crèche is provided. All of the Edinburgh Vineyard team are PVG checked.
